Exposure assessment together with hazard characterisation forms the basis for risk assessment. Methods for assessment of exposure both at the workplace and for consumers are under rapid development. Models (like EASE, ConsExpo, SprayExpo, RiskOfDerm calculator) become increasingly important. Exposure assessment is important in various areas:
